The Serbian language school "Nikola Tesla" and the Canadian Tesla Technical Museum won another important victory to promote the work and achievements of our great scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. Apart from Nikola Tesla Day, which is celebrated on July 10, the birthday of the great scientist, these two institutions managed to make the Plaza in the Canadian city of Niagara Falls bear the name of Nikola Tesla.

"Negotiations are underway to open the first Canadian Tesla Technical Museum in North America, which should be established in cooperation with the Niagara Parks Commission, an independent state organization that owns all cultural and tourist facilities and monuments. at Niagara Falls", says Nemanja Jevremović, founder and director of the museum, for the RTS Diaspora Program.

Nemanja was born in Belgrade in 1971. When he was 4, his family moved to Sarajevo, where his father, a geophysical engineer, got a job at the Department of Geology, which is still in operation today. Nemanja graduated primary and secondary school as well as the first two years of University in Sarajevo. When the war began in 1992, the Jevremović family returned to Belgrade and until 1995 they lived at the complex of the "Zvezdara" Astronomical Observatory.

The second round of negotiations with the management of the Niagara Parks Commission on the opening of the first Tesla Technical Museum in North America continued on March 6 with a tour of the only remaining hydroelectric plant built according to Tesla's plans, located in Niagara waterfalls.

For two decades, electrical engineer Nemanja Jevremovic has been dedicated to the construction of Nikola Tesla's inventions functional exhibit models. Patiently, meticulously and with engineering precision, with the selfless help of colleagues from Serbia and Canada, numerous replicas of Tesla's inventions were made.

According to the plan and proposal of the Niagara Parks Commission, the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum will be built in several stages. The opening of the first stage should be completed by July 1st 2021, when the opening of Rankine Hydropower Plant as a tourist attraction is planned, says Nemanja Jevremović.
